Spirou had its hands full with fourth-ranked Aalstar, trailing by 55-59 after three quarters, but hit the gas pedal in final 10 minutes with a 13-5 charge that proved decisive. Tornike Shengelia paced the winners with 19 points and 6 rebounds, while Christopher Beghin chipped in 15 and Andre Riddick added 7. Spirou forced 19 Aalstar turnovers. Antwerp walloped Liege 64-48 behind 16 points by Bryan Hopkins to climb to 20-8, and Oostende dumped VOO Verviers-Pepinster 89-72 with four players in double figures, led by Dragisa Drobnjak’s 14 points and 9 rebounds. Oostende lifted its record to 19-9. Finally, Gent overwhelmed Leuven 72-49, led by Lionel Bosco’s 17 points and 7 assists.
