The Belgian League standings remain unchanged as defending champ Belgacom Spirou Charleroi raced past VOO Verviers-Pepinster 56-81 and both Antwerp and Telenet Oostende stayed on the leader’s heels with victories. Spirou won the opening quarter 19-11 and never looked back, lifting its record to 22-8. The visitors excelled on both ends of the court, hitting 60.5% of their two-point attempts compared to 36.6% for Verviers-Pepinster, and holding the hosts to a total of only 4 assists. Caleb Green led the way with 23 points, while Tornike Shengelia tallied 14 with 8 rebounds and Demond Mallet added 9 on 3 of 5 from downtown. Justin Hamilton came up with 4 steals for the winners.
