BC Oostende champ Belgian League 2011-12 (photo bcoostende.be)Telenet BC Oostende won its 13th Belgian championship and first since 2007 by edging Belgacom Spirou Basket 75-74 after overtime Friday in the fifth and deciding game of the series. Matt Lojeski scored the go-ahead triple with 23 seconds left in overtime. Spirou’s Justin Hamilton got to the line with 8 seconds to go, but missed twice and Oostende capitalized to claim the title. Lojeski finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the new champs. Kennedy Winston added 14 and 9 and Brent Wrigth scored 11 for Oostende. Demond Mallet led Spirou with 19 points, Toko Shengelia added 14 and Chris Hill scored 12 in defeat.
