Lukoil Academic turned away Chernomorets with ease 93-59 on Saturday to cruise to its sixth win in as many games in the Bulgarian League. Damjan Stojanovski scored 18 points and Bozhidar Avramov added 15 to pace the winning effort. Bruno Sundov added 13, Todor Stoykov 11 and Lamont Mack 10 for Academic, which was in charge 30-13 after 10 minutes and never looked back. Kiril Pavlovski tallied 21 points and 11 rebounds in defeat. Second-placed Levski remained one win behind the champs after beating Rilski Sportist 83-72. In other games, Tihomir Zhelev scored 24 to lead Euroins Cherno to an 84-91 road win at Spartak Pleven and Yambol topped Balkan 70-77 behind Martin Durchev’s 26 points.
