Another week, another win for Bulgarian League leader and defending champion Lukoil Academic, which improved to 15-0 by downing Spartak Pleven on the road 65-80. Spartak kept it close into the fourth quarter, but Lukoil put things away by limiting the hosts to 9 fourth-quarter points. Bruno Sundov scored 18 points to lead the winners, while Todor Stoykov tallied 15, Bozhidar Avramov 14 and Lamont Mack 13. Aleksandar Dyakovski carried Spartak with 23 points and 6 assists. Second placed Levski Sofia remained three wins behind the leaders by beating Tundja Yambol 89-83 after entering the fourth quarter down 2. Aaron Harper dominated with 33 points and 5 assists, while Vasil Evtimov hauled in 13 rebounds for the winning team. In other games, Balkan and Rilski Sportist alos won.
