CEZ Basketball Nymburk worked a little harder than usual before disposing of BK Breda & Weinstein Opava 72-79 to remain firmly in control in the Czech League with a 16-1 record. Tre Simmons scored 21 points and Ladislav Sokolovsky added 18 points and 8 rebounds to pace the perennial champs. Petr Benda added 16 as Nymburk won its 13th league game in a row. Jakub Sirina led the Opava attack with 14 points and 5 assists. In the battle for second place, BK JIP Pardubice rolled BC Kolin 85-63 led by 20 points from Marcus Arnold and 19 from Corey Muirhead. Pardubice improved to 14-3, while Kolin dropped to 13-3. BK Prostejov is tied with Kolin after routing SLUNETA Usti nad Labem 80-117 as Jamar Smith shined with 28 points and 8 assists. Prostejov and Kolin have a game at hand against one another.
