Petr Benda - CEZ NymburkDefending champion CEZ Nymburk rolled to another double-digit win in the Czech League on Tuesday, while BK Decin downed BK Prostejov Wednesday to forge a three-way tie for second. Nymburk bested BC Kolin 66-77 on the road to improve to 32-2. Petr Benda starred with 17 points and 15 rebounds and Pavel Pumprla added 14 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks in a fantastic all-around effort. BK JIP Pardubice, Decin and BK Prostejov are locked into a tie for second with 24-11 records. Pardubice cruised past USK Praha 92-56 behind 31 points from Maurice Hampton. Decin topped Prostejov 77-71 thanks to 21 points from Admir Alic. The visitors led early before Decin bounced back and the game settled at 39-39 by halftime. The game stayed close to the finish and was 72-71 after a Dusan Pandula basket with 1:22 to go, however Alic hit back with a three, Pandula missed his next shot and Pavel Houska bucket iced it for Decin.
