Defending champion Brose Baskets asserted its domination in the German League by spanking second place ratiopharm Ulm 74-102 to open up a two-win cushion atop the standings. Casey Jacobsen scored 21 points on perfect shooting and Brian Roberts added 20 points and 7 assists for the winners, who had leads of 2-10 and 6-19 in the first quarter and never looked back. Marcus Slaughter added 18 points and 8 rebounds as Bamberg improved its record to 19-2. Isaiah Swann scored 27 for Ulm, which dropped to 17-4. Artland Dragons is one win behind Ulm after beating s.Oliver Baskets 68-72 led by Anthony King, Nathan Peavy and Bryan Bailey, who all scored 12 points. Alba Berlin is securely in fourth place at 15-6 thanks to a 77-83 road win at BG Goettingen. The Berliners never had any doubts after leading by 16 after one quarter and 23 after two. DaShaun Wood totaled 19 points and 6 assists and Bryce Taylor scored 18 for Alba. In other games, Fraport Skyliners edged New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig 81-80 in overtime as Tim Ohlbrecht posted 15 points and 11 rebounds and TBB Trier topped FC Bayern Munich 70-68 behind 18 points from Dru Joyce.
