Marcus Slaughter was named MVP after posting 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. P.J. Tucker scored 5 in a 2-11 first quarter run as Bamberg grabbed control and never looked back. The lead was 17-29 after 10 minutes and Brose held a steady lead the rest of the way. Predrag Suput added 16 points and Casey Jacobsen 12 for the winners. Talor Battle paced Bonn with 19 points and Tony Gaffney tallied 17 points and 7 blocked shots. ratiopharm Ulm claimed third place after routing New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig 68-85 behind 19 points and 7 rebounds from Roderick Trice. To reach the final, Bamberg bested Ulm 96-99 after overtime Saturday. Anton Gavel starred with 30 points, while John Bryant posted 25 points and 12 rebounds in defeat. And Bonn beat Braunschweig 77-64 led by 20 points and 9 rebounds from Gaffney.
