German League, Regular Season, Game 30: April 7-8, 2012

Brose Baskets Bamberg maintained its lead atop the German League after dominating Artland Dragons 68-83, while second place remained a tie between Alba Berlin and ratiopharm Ulm as both teams kept pace with victories. Anthony Tucker paced Bamberg with a game-high 32 points and 13 rebounds as the visitors won every quarter to lift their record to 27-3. Berlin used a 42-29 margin in the second half to claim an 80-67 win over LTi Giessen behind 21 points and 6 assists by DaShaun Wood, while Ulm outdueled Walter Tigers Tubingen 93-87 as John Bryant paced the winners with 21 points. Berlin and Ulm are knotted at 24-6. FC Bayern Munchen raised its record to 18-12 after it dumped Telekom Baskets Bonn 87-69 as Chevon Troutman led the way with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Fraport Skylineres evened its record at 15-15 with a win over EWE Baskets Oldenburg behind Jermareo Davidson’s 25 points and 7 rebounds. In other games in the upper half of the standings, s. Oliver Baskets handily beat TBB Trier 61-75; and New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig overwhelmed BG Gottingen 92-65. Finally, EnBW Ludwigsburg and Eisbaren Bremerhaven were the remaining winners in the German League over the weekend.
