With Giorgos Printezis once again on fire and netting 20 points, Olympiacos thrashed Peristeri 55-87 on the road to improve its record to 15-1 and remain atop the Greek League standings. Meanwhile Panathinaikos enjoyed a week 17 bye before the two teams meet each other next Sunday in Piraeus. Olympiacos dominated from the start and never looked back. Kostas Sloukas added 11 points, Joey Dorsey posted 10 points and 7 boards and Pero Antic added 10 points. For the winners. Haris Giannopoulos posted 20 points and 10 boards for Peristeri. Aris edged Drama 77-70 at home, as Christos Tapoutos and Dan Mavraides bagged 12 points apiece. Aris trailed 12-19 at the end of the first quarter, but came up big afterwards. Sergio Kerusch and Ronald Davis produced 11 points each. Giannis Athinaiou led Drama with 13 points. In Nea Smirni, Panionios got a convincing victory over PAOK, 69-59. Vladimir Jankovic posted 12 points and John Diebler tallied 10 points for the hosts. For PAOK, Dimos Dikoudis chipped in 13 points, while Milutin Aleksic and newcomer Nikos Pappas bagged 10 points apiece. Kolossos Rhodes continued its impressive route, by downing Ikaros Kallithea 78-64 behind 20 points and 6 rebounds from Scottie Hopson. Ilissiakos bested Maroussi 81-89 on the road, as Harding Nana posted another double-double with 24 points and 14 boards. Kavala came back from an early 28-9 deficit and beat Rethimno 80-83 on the road, with Sotiris Karapostolou recording 25 points, including 5-for-9 three-point shooting and 7 boards.
