Greek League playoffs, semifinals Game 4: April 30, 2012
Ian Vougioukas - PanathinaikosDefending Greek champion Panathinaikos won its semifinals series on Monday to join fellow Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four side Olympiacos Piraeus in the Greek League finals. Panathinaikos defeated Kolossos Rhodes 66-74 in Game 4 to win the best-of-five semifinal series 3-1 and reach the Greek League finals for the tenth straight season. After losing Game3, the Greens came back stronger and wiser, gained a 27-33 lead at the halftime, opened the margin to double digits later in the third quarter and held on for the win. Ian Vougioukas paved the way for Panathinaikos with 17 points, Kostas Kaimakoglou posted 13 pointsand 6 rebounds, Nick Calathes tallied 9 points and Sarunas Jasikevicius added 8 points and 3 assists. For Kolossos, which will now play against Panionios for third place, Nikos Liakopoulos netted 20 points and Angelos Tsamis recorded 15 points and 5 boards.
