The hosts led from start to finish, buoyed by 61.1% shooting from two-point range and a 45-26 rebounding margin. Five players scored in double figures for the winners, led by Pietro Aradori’s 19 points, while David Andersen tallied 16 and Bo McCalebb and David Moss added 13 apiece. Bennet Cantu kept hold of second place with a 76-66 victory over Cimberio Varese, using a 24-12 third quarter to secure the win. Greg Brunner led the way with 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Maarten Leunen netted 17, including 3 of 4 from downtown, and Nicolas Mazzarino added 12. EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Scavolini Siviglia Pesaro both won and remain deadlocked in third place with 18-10 records. Malik Hairston starred for Milan, scoring 27 points, including 8 of 11 from downtown, in a 77-90 victory over Sidigas Avellino. The visitors got the better of the opponent in all main statistical categories. Antonis Fotsis added 17 points and Ioannis Bourousis 10 for the winners. Pesaro used a 25-19 fourth quarter to topple Banco de Sardegna Sassari 89-81 as James White led the way with 24 points. Sassari slipped to 17-11, in fifth place, joined with Umana Venezia, which handily defeated Acea Roma 83-69. In other games, Canadian Solar Bologna outplayed Otto Caserta 84-66 and Vanoli Braga Cremona outlasted Fabi Shoes Montegranaro 66-73.
