Latvian League playoffs, Semifinals Game 3: April 25- May 1, 2012
Ventspils took a step toward the Latvian League finals by downing Liepaja 77-69 in come-from-behind style to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series. Ventspils led 34-31 at halftime, but Liepaja went ahead 51-55 through three quarters before the home team drew even and pulled away in the closing minutes. Arturs Berzins and Arturs Strelnieks led the winners with 17 points each, Steven Gray added 13, Ronalds Zakis 12 and Jahmar Young 11. Martins Kavcenko bagged 23 and Janis Timma poured in 17 in defeat.
