Zalgiris and Rudupis sit atop the Lithuanian League standings at 4-0 followed closely by Lietuvos Rytas and Siauliai at 3-0 at the end of a full slate of weekend games. Zalgiris picked up its fourth win by beating Baltai 73-91. The game was still close through three quarters and Baltai led by 1 early in the fourth, but Zalgiris finished the game on a 4-19 tear led by Mindaugas Kuzminskas with 9. Kuzminskas finished with 30 points, Marko Popovic added 16 and Mantas Kalnietis dished 9 assists for the winning side. For Baltai, Mario Delas and Edgaras Ulanovas scored 13 each. Rudupis got to four wins by routing Naglis 95-62 and Sakalai 72-94 on consecutive nights. Gediminas Orelikas led six Rudupis scorers in double figures with 16 in the first game. Povilas Butkevicius dominated with 29 in the second. Rytas cruised to its third win with a 67-100 dismantling of Kedainiai Triobet. The damage was done early as Rytas went to 27-60 by the half. Vilmantas Dilys and Predrag Samardziski paced the winners with 18 points. And Siauliai cruised past Techasas 93-69 behind Cameron Long’s 19 points.
