Rudupis failed to take advantage of Lithuanian League powerhouses Zalgiris Kaunas and Lietuvos Rytas both being idle when it split a pair of results over the weekend. Rudupis picked up its 15th victory by downing Neptunas 94-79, but then suffered its fourth loss, 72-63, at Pieno zvaigzdes. In the first game, Rudupis gave up all of a 57-40 halftime lead in the third quarter, but Povilas Butkevicius and Valdas Dabkus combined for 9 straight points in the fourth quarter as the hosts pulled away and secured the win. Dabkus finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds and Gediminas Orelikas scored 17 for the victors. But one day later, Pieno zvaigzdes dominated the second half to stomp on Rudupis, while snagging its 10th win. Trevon Hughes stared with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Sylvester Morgan posted 13 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Pieno zvaigzdes also beat Juventus earlier in the weekend 67-78 as Gytis Sirutavicius scored 18 and Hughes delivered 13 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals.
