Polish League playoffs, Quarterfinals Game 4: April 29-30, 2012
PGE Turow outlasted Anwil Wloclawek 96-92 to become the first team to advance to the Polish League semifinals, but the remaining three best-of-five quarterfinals series will go the distance. David Jackson scored 26 to lead five Turow scorers in double figures. Anwil rallied from 11 down midway through the fourth quarter to get within 2 in the final minute, but Jackson made 4 free throws in the final 73 seconds to help ice the win. Damian Kulig and Michal Chylinski added 16 points apiece for the victors. AZS Koszalin protected its home floor with an 87-72 win over defending champion Asseco Prokom Gdynia. A 10-2 run to open the second half made it 52-39 and Prokom never got closer than 10 the rest of the way. George Reese scored 18 off the bench to lead Koszalin; Jerel Blassingame produced 12 points and 7 assists in defeat. Trefl Sopot stayed alive with a 62-77 road win at Slask Wroclaw and Zastal Zielona Gora edged Energa Czarni Slupsk 77-78 on Piotr Stelmach’s game winner with 4 seconds left.
