Serbian Radivoja Koraca Cup quarterfinals, Day 2: February 17, 2012

Crvena Zvezda and Hemofarm Stada won Friday to join Partizan mt:s and Radnicki in the Serbian Radivoja Koraca Cup semifinals. Crvena Zvezda topped BKK Radnicki 88-74 and Hemofarm Stada slammed Radnicki FMP 84-58. Zvezda will play Hemofarm in one of Saturday’s semifinals and Partizan will face Radnicki in the other. Zvezda took control early, led by double figures in the first quarter and 56-35 at halftime. The lead was still in the mid 20s halfway through the fourth quarter before Zvezda eased up and allowed BKK to narrow the gap to a more respectable number in the final minutes. Andreja Milutinovic scored 20 and grabbed 7 rebounds off the bench and Petar Popovic posted 10 points and 8 boards to lead Zvezda. Miroslav Tomic scored 15 to lead BKK. Hemofarm walloped FMP by taking a 10-point lead through 10 minutes and then outscoring the opponents 25-10 in the third quarter. Marko Sutalo scored 17 points and Mladen Jeremic 16 for the victors.
