The GasTerra Flames are close behind at 12-5 after also winning on the road. Kees Akerboom scored 26 points on 6-of-7 three-point shooting, Rogier Jansen added 25 points and 6 assists and Tai Wesley netted 22 to pace the Towers. Cameron Wells shined for Landstede with 28 points and 8 assists. The Flames edged Stepco BSWeert 69-72 behind 27 points from Alex Wesby and a Thomas Koenis double-double. Jason Dourisseau put the visitors up by 3 with more than a minute remaining and strong defense denied Weert’s Kenneth van Kempen and Robbie Harman to ensure the win. Meanwhile Magixx PfK Nijmegen registered its 10th win by beating Rotterdam 72-81 as Lucas Hargrove came through with 16 points.
