The three Turkish Airlines Euroleague powers in the Turkish League all won over the weekend to stay neck-and-neck for first place. Anadolu Efes, Fenerbahce Ulker and Galatasaray Medical Park are joined by Besiktas at 3-0 atop the standings. Efes blasted Olin Edirne on the road 67-88 behind an unstoppable Ermal Kuqo, who tallied 22 points while missing just 2 shots. The visitors put the game away early and led 27-49 at halftime. Sasha Vujacic added 13 points and Ersan Ilyasova 11 for the winners. FB Ulker cruised past Bandirma Kirmizi 93-60 as Omer Onan scored 20, Bojan Bogdanovic recorded 18 points and 5 assists and James Gist posted 11 points and 12 rebounds. The hosts led 36-16 after 10 minutes and never looked back. Galatasaray fell behind early but rallied to lead by 1 at halftime and went on to beat Pinar Karsiyaka 79-72. Preston Shumpert had the hot hand with 22 points, Ender Arslan netted 13 and Darius Songalia 12 for the victors. Besiktas picked up an 88-97 win at Turk Telekom thanks to Marcelus Kemp’s 25 points and a 23-point, 8-assist effort from Deron Williams. BK Banvit strolled to an 84-66 triumph over Hacettepe University for its first win of the campaign. Kenan Bajramovic paced Banvit with 18 points and Serkan Erdogan hit 5 of 7 triples for his 15 points. In other games, Mersin Bsb routed Antalya 102-65 and Erdemir and Aliaga Petkim also won.
