Nothing changed atop the Turkish League standings as the top four teams all recorded victories, including third-placed Anadolu Efes, which downed archrival Fenerbahce Ulker 69-67. Galatasaray Medical Park and Banvit remain tied in first place with 24-5 records, while Efes sits one win back. Efes fell behind early and trailed 34-40 at halftime, but fought back and closed the gap in the fourth quarter. The game came down to the wire. Dusko Savanovic gave Efes its first lead at 62-61 and his free throws made it 67-66 with 30 seconds to go. A Dogus Balbay basket with 6 seconds to go made it 69-67 and the visitors came up empty on their final possession. Savanovic finished with 17 points, Esteban Batiste posted 15 points and 12 rebounds and Kerem Tunceri tallied 11 points and 6 assists for the winners. Oguz Savas led Fener with 19 points. Banvit cruised to its 24th win at Aliaga Petkim 101-77. Kenan Bajramovic led six Banvit scorers in double figures with 16 points and Lance Williams added 14. Galatasaray needed two overtimes to edge Erdemir 85-81. Jamon Lucas led the way with 18 points and 6 assists and Jaka Lakovic was 3 for 5 from downtown en route to 16 points. Fourth place Besiktas Milangaz bested Trabzonspor 77-81 on the strength of 17 points and 6 assists from Carlos Arroyo and 16 points and 10 rebounds from Erwin Dudley.
