Besiktas beat Galatasaray Medical Park 84-73 behind a combined 47 points from Carlos Arroyo and David Hawkins to win their series 3-1. Banvit erased a 12-point fourth-quarter deficit to top Efes 71-73. Efes raced to an early 11-2 lead as Dusko Savanovic and Ermal Kuqo shared all the points. Banvit made a 4-11 run to bridge the first two quarters and pull within 23-21 on a triple by Erdogan, but Cenk Akyol's 5 points in a row dodged the threat. Efes soon had another double-digit lead, 33-22, on Dogus Balbay's layup and cruised into halftime ahead by 44-30 on baskets by Kerem Gonlum and Oliver Lafayette. The difference hit a high of 46-30 as Kuqo scored to open the second half. When Chuck Davis and Kenan Bajramovic got Banvit within single digits again at 48-39, Efes was ready again, this time with Esteban Batista and Akyol assuring a 61-49 edge after three quarters. Davis would not let Banvit go without a fight, however, and joined with Baris Ermis in a 2-7 run to make it 66-60 with 5 minutes left to play. A scoreless minute passed before Bajramovic blasted a triple to bring Banvit within 66-63, closer than it had been during more than 20 minutes. Then Izzet Turkyilmaz tied it up from downtown with 2:25 to play. Akyol ended Banvit's 11-0 run with his own three-pointer, but after Erdogan got a basket, Bajramovic got his team's first lead, 69-70, on free throws with 43 seconds left. He added 2 more with 15 seconds left and Efes had no time to respond, which means the series will go to a fifth and final game. Bajaramovic finished with 17 points, 6 rebound and 5 assists and Davis posted 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Akyol led Efes with 17 points and Savanovic added 13. Besiktas trailed 35-41 at halftime and was down 1 entering the fourth quarter, but then limited Galatasaray to 14 fourth-quarter points and Hawkins and Arroyo fueled the attack as the hosts took control and raced to the game and series wins. Hawkins netted 24, Arroyo tallied 23 plus 6 assists and Pops Mensah-Bonsu scored 13 for the winners. Nihad Djedovic led Galatasaray with 19 points and 4 assists, Jamon Lucas scored 14 and Furkan Aldemir hauled in 10 rebounds.
