Ramel Curry - BC Donetsk (photo BC Donetsk)Budyvelnik edged Mykolaiv 87-83 to keep first place in the Ukrainian League table with 29-7 record, while BC Donetsk downed BT Azovmash 90-81 to keep up the chase in second place at 29-8. Luis Flores led Budyvelnik by nailing 22 points to spark the decisive effort in the final quarter after a very balanced game with the guests leading 47-53 at halftime and 65-68 after thirty minutes. Dmytro Zabirchenko drilled 17 points with 5 for 8 from downtown and Zach Morley poured in 10 others, while Rodney Green netted 22 for the losers. Five double-figure scorers led by All-Eurocup Second Team guard Ramel Curry, who drained 19, helped BC Donetsk defeat BT Azovmash 90-81. The guests led 41-44 at halftime, but once back from the lockers, the hosts took the lead and stayed in front 69-63 at the end of the third quarter. Vule Avdalovic chipped in 18 points with 7 assists, Vlachesal Kravtsov added 19 with 9 rebounds, Michael Lee had 15 and Vojdan Stojanovckis 14, while Matt Walsh contributed with 19 for the visitors. Khimik trashed Dnipro Azot 64-96 on the road behind 21 points from Darrel Mitchell and 20 from Reyshawn Terry. Halychyna stormed over Cherkasy, also on the road, 71-102 as Vladan Vukosavlijevic bagged 22 and Keddric Mays 21.
