Ukrainian League playoffs, Semifinals Game 3: May 5, 2012

BC Donetsk and BC Azovmash advanced to the Ukrainian League final after sweeping their semifinals series 3-0. Donetsk bested Ferro-ZNTU 69-79 and Azovmash routed Budivelnyk 83-64. Ferro-ZNTU led 43-36 at halftime, and held on to a slim 57-55 cushion after 30 minutes, but a 23-12 surge in the fourth quarter by the visitors iced the game. Ivan Radenovic led the way for the winners with 25 points and 9 boards, Ramel Curry netted 13, and Vule Avdalovic and Dmytro Gliebov added 12 apiece. Azovmash and Budivelnyk were nearly even at halftime, with the score set at 39-38, but the hosts hit the gas in the second half with a 44-26 differential to secure an 83-64 victory. Othello Hunter led the winners with 16 points, Matt Walsh nailed 15 and Jerome Randle contributed 14 with 9 assists.
