With the game between defending champions Asseco Prokom Gdynia and league leading PGE Turow postponed, Trefl Sopot picked up an important win in an all-Eurocup duel at Zastal 72-84 that has launched them into sole possession of the second place in Polish League. Trefl Sopot used a 0-8 second quarter run to get to double-digit advantage, but secured a victory midway through the fourth with a 0-9 run that made it 64-74 with 4 minutes to go. Filip Dylewicz led the victors with 25 points and also grabbed 9 rebounds. Przemyslaw Zamojski scored 11, while Michal Michalak and Kurt Looby each had 10. Hosts had Oliver Stevic score 18, while Walter Hodge and Kamil Chanas each had 15 in defeat. In other games, AZS Koszalin and Energa Czarni Slupsk recorded victories to climb into third-place tie. Koszalin beat Polpharma 86-64 with Jeff Robinson finishing with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, while Darrell Harris collected a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. Slupsk downed Anwil Wloclawek 82-64 behind 19 points from Levi Knutson and 13 points plus 12 rebounds from Robert Tomaszek. Kotwica Kolobrzeg recorded first win of the season, 78-71 against Start Gdynia. Corey Jefferson led them with 18 points plus 6 assists. Rosa Radom is at 2-3 record after an overtime 91-85 victory over Jezioro Tarnobrzeg as Piotr Kardas scored 20 and Hubert Radke amassed 17 points and 12 rebounds.
