Second week of action brought more upsets in Spanish League as Gescrap Bilbao Basket used big third quarter to down FC Barcelona Regal 78-77. This is second defeat in as many matches for defending champions that led throughout the first half and held 37-43 halftime advantage. But Bilbao took control after the break winning third quarter 20-9, and baskets from Adrien Moerman and Raul Lopez opened up 63-54 Bilbao lead after 33 minutes. Visitors threatened to come back, but a triple from Moerman 25 seconds before the end sealed the deal. Moerman finished with 13 points on 3 for 3 three-point shooting while Nikos Zisis scored 16 in victory. Ante Tomic led all Barcelona scorers with 16 points, while Erazem Lorbek added 13. Other Turkish Airlines Euroleague teams came out victorious this week. Caja Laboral used six double-digit scorers to dismantle Cajasol Sevilla 90-70. Brad Oleson scored 16, Andres Nocioni and Maciej Lampe finished with 14 apiece. On the other end, Tomas Satoransky had 12 points for Cajasol. Real Madrid dismantled Valladolid 75-100 with a superb effort from Nikola Mirotic who had 26 points and 10 rebounds while Sergio Llull added 15. Unicaja Malaga squandered 16-point first half advantage but in the thrilling end came back and beat Joventut Badalona. Txemi Urtasun led Unicaja with 12 points. In another thriller, Justin Doellman hit lay-up with 1.7 seconds remaining to give Valencia 77-78 victory at Murcia. Vitor Faverani scored 14 and Serhiy Lishchuk added 13 for Valencia while Marcus Lewis scored 25 points in 24 minutes for Murcia.
