Euroleague Commercial Assets board meets after Top 16 Draw

Euroleague Commercial Assets board members met yesterday after the Top 16 Draw to discuss several issues, including updates on various ongoing projects. Board members were given a brief outline on marketing activities and partnerships that have been reached, among them the incorporation of Mondo into the sponsorship package and the continuance of Sportingbet as a Global Sponsor. Board members were also given a progress report on the agreements Euroleague has with several agencies across Europe and a review of the advertising agreements reached with media outlets.
During the presentation, board members were presented with the competition's attendance reports for the 2009-2010 regular season and discussed the possibility of developing a ticketing program for teams to brainstorm new marketing ideas. At the same time, members were given reviews of ongoing television negotiations as well as results with regards to the implemented improvements to Euroleague.TV.
The meeting was also an opportunity for board members to discuss and approve the proposal to send a donation based on the attendance at the Top 16's opening-week games to UNICEF in order to aid victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti.
The meeting concluded with Elisenda Salrach being named Euroleague Secretary General.
