EFES PILSEN brings back Ermal Kuqo
Ermal Kuqo - Efes PilsenEfes Pilsen completed its roster for the new season by inking center Ermal Kuqo to a one-year deal with a team option to extend it until the end of the 2010-11 season. Kuqo (207, 29) was released from Valencia Basket last month. He averaged 7.7 points in seven Eurocup games last season in just 13 minutes per night. Kuqo previosuly played for Efes from 2003 to 2008. He averaged 8.8 points on 41.9% three-point shooting and 3.3 rebounds in 20 Euroleague games in the 2007-08 season. Kuqo helped Efes to win back-to-back Turkish League titles in 2004 and 2005, as well as lifting consecutive Turkish Cup trophies in 2006 and 2007. Kuqo has also played for Pivovarna Lasko in Slovenia, Split in Croatia, as well as for Fenerbahce in Turkey. He has also been a member of the Turkish national team, despite being the only Albanian that ever played in the Euroleague.
