PROKOM tries out guard Junior Harrington
Asseco Prokom Gdynia signed of playmaker Junior Harrington to a short-term. Harrington (193, 29) already made his Prokom debut in the Polish League last weekend and is ready to help the Polish champs against defending Euroleague champion Panathinaikos. He arrives from Union Olimpija, where he averaged 8.5 points in 8 Adriatic League games last season. He also took part in a Euroleague game against Alba Berlin, where he had 5 points to lead Olimpija to a road win. Harrington won the Slovenian League and the Slovenian Cup titles with Olimpija. He has also played for Lokomotiv Rostov in Russia, Memphis, New Orleans and Nuggets in the NBA, Pamesa Valencia in Spain and Azovmash in Ukraine. Harrington lifted the Ukrainian League trophy with Azovmash in 2004 and made it to the Spanish King's Cup final with Pamesa in 2006.
