Reyes ranks high in both the Euroleague's - 13th, 681 - and the Eurocup's - 3rd, 368 - all-time rebounding lists.

"I am very happy because this is what I really wanted - to be three more years in such a big club where I have been treated so well. Everything ended up being the way I wanted and I would like to thank Real Madrid and our president for the effort they are putting into the basketball section," Reyes said. "We have to have a great season and it would be my way to thank the club. The main reason why I extended my contract was because I identify completely with the club and its fans. I have had six unforgettable years in Real Madrid and I wanted to keep belonging to this club."
