PARTIZAN tabs guard Dragan Milosavljevic
Dragan Milosavljevic – Serbia (Photo: FIBA Europe/Harry Zampetoulas)Shortly after naming Vlada Jovanovic as its new head coach, Partizan Belgrade signed shooting guard Dragan Milosavljevic, making him the team's first new addition for the coming season. Milosavljevic (21, 198) arrives from fellow Serbian side Radnicki, with whom he reached the Serbian Superleague semifinals last year. He averaged 8.8 points for Radnicki in the Serbian Superleague and 10.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in the Adriatic League. Milosavljevic is one of 23 players that Serbian national team coach Dusan Ivkovic has called up for the preliminary roster for this summer’s World Championship in Turkey. He developed at Napredak Rubin from Krusevac, where he played from 2006 to 2009. Milosavljevic was a member of the Serbian team at the under-20 European Championships in France last year, where he recorded 9.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
