OLYMPIACOS adds talent with Keselj

Marko Keselj - Red Star2009-10 Euroleague runners-up Olympiacos Piraeus keeps making signings to strengthen even more its roster. The new face, announced on Wednesday, is young small forward Marko Keselj (208, 23), who has signed a three-year deal with the Reds. Keselj arrives from Crvena Zvezda of Serbia, where last season he had a good campaign in the Eurocup averaging 9.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.7 steals in over 11 games, being consistently in the starting five. Keselj grew up in KK Avala Ada of Serbia and remained there until 2006. That summer he moved to Spain to join Akasvayu Girona, where he spent one season taking the 2007 FIBA Eurocup. The next season he landed in the Koln 99ers of Germany but he was back in 2008 to Serbia to join Crvena Zvezda, where he spent the last two seasons. Keselj has also been a member of the inferior categories of the Serbian national team, as he won the 2007 World Championships with the U19 team and one year later he also won the U20 Eurobasket. He is currently a member of the absolute national team of Serbia.
