OLYMPIACOS brings in Lucas at guard
Jamon Lucas - Maroussi BCEuroleague runners-up Olympiacos Piraeus strengthened its roster even more on Wednesday with the addition of guard Jamon Lucas (191, 27) for the next season. Lucas arrives from Maroussi BC of Greece where last season he averaged 11.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game in the Euroleague. Lucas played college ball at Virginia Tech fom 2003 to 2007. That same year he moved to Turkey to make his pro debut with Antalya Belediye. He moved to Germany in the summer of 2008 to play with the Koln 99ers, but in January of 2009 he joined KK Split of Croatia, where he led the Croatian League in steals per game with 3.1. After that, he was called by Maroussi to join the Greek League and also make his Euroleague debut, meeting the high expectations he had created.
