UNION OLIMPIJA adds Gregory at small forward

Kenny Gregory - Efes PilsenUnion Olimpija added experience to its roster with the signing of Kenny Gregory, an athletic small forward with two seasons in the Euroleague under his belt. Gregory (197, 31) arrives from PAOK Thessaloniki, where he recorded 14.1 points and 4.7 rebounds in the Greek League last season. He was a double-digit scorer in each of his previous Euroleague campaign, recording 14.9 points in 14 games for Le Mans in 2006-07 and 11.1 points in 20 games for Efes Pilsen the following year. Gregory played college basketball at the University of Kansas until 2001 and then played in the NBDL with Greenville. He would later spent time at Edimes of Italy and the Chester Jets in England before going to Le Mans for the 2005-06 season and helping the team win the French League title. He has also played half a season for Valencia, one of Union Olimpija's Turkish Airlines Euroleague Regular Season Group D opponents.
