AJ MILANO completes roster with Nardi
Less than two weeks before the Turkish Airlines Euroleague starts, Armani Jeans Milano announced the completion of its roster with the signing of Mike Nardi at point guard. Nardi (185, 25) previously debuted in the Euroleague by playing four games in the 2008-09 season for Air Avellino of Italy. He played 14 minutes and scored 10 points in the last of those games, against eventual Final Four team Olympiacos. Nardi arrives from second-division Pavia in Italy, where he played 27 games last season, scoring 8 points in 23 minutes on average. Previously, Nardi starred for Villanova University in the NCAA and debuted as a pro with Montecatini, also in Italy's second division. Nardi has spent the preseason working out with Milano and was signed to a single-season contract.
