BILBAO re-signs guard Jackson
Aaron Jackson - Bizkaia Bilbao BasketBizkaia Bilbao Basket made another move to keep the core together of last season’s squad by re-signing guard Aaron Jackson for another year. In his first season with the club, Jackson (193, 25) averaged 8.8 points and 3.2 assists in helping Bilbao reach the Spanish League finals. It was his second professional season after completing four season of college basketball at Duquesne, where he was a teammate of Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv big man Shawn James. Jackson left Duquesne University with the third-most assists in school history (505). He played the 2009-10 season in Turkey for Antalya and joined Canadian Solar Bologna at the end of that season for the Italian League playoffs. At the same time, Bilbao bid farewell to another important player, Paco Vazquez. The 37-year-old guard has spent the spent the past four seasons with the club.
