BILBAO keeps Josh Fisher
Turkish Airlines Euroleague newcomer Bizkaia Bilbao Basket announced on Tuesday that guard Josh Fisher will stay in the team for one more season. Fisher (1.89 meters, 31 years old) had a good season with Bilbao last year with averages of 3.7 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists. Fisher played college ball at St. Louis from 2000 to 2004. After that, he crossed the pond to play in Spain with Pamesa Valencia and he has stayed in that country ever since. He has played with teams like Cai Zaragoza, Gijon, Etosa Alicante or Polaris World Murcia. He also played with Real Madrid in the 2005-06 season to make his Euroleague debut, but he only played two games in which he didn't score a single point. He will now have the chance to return to the top basketball competition in Europe to show that he belongs.
