REGAL FCB brings back Rabaseda
Xavier RabasedaOn Thursday Regal FC Barcelona announced that young prospect Xavier Rabaseda will be back to play with the club this season after one year on loan to Fuenlabrada of the Spanish League. Rabaseda (1.97 meters, 22 years old) is a shooting guard who exploded last season at Fuenla with averages of 8.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 33 Spanish League games. Rabaseda arrived at Barcelona in 2002 at an early age and grew as a player there. He had a solid progressiona nd made his debut with the Barcelona first team in 2009 when he was still playing with Cornella, a team affiliated to Barca. Rabaseda has a contract signed with Barcelona until 2014 and he arrives the day that the club confirmed that captain Roger Grimau and Jaka Lakovic will not continue with the team next season.
