BROSE BASKETS extends sixth man Roberts
German League champion Brose Baskets reached a new agreement with combo guard Brian Roberts to keep him in the team next season. Roberts (1.88 meters, 25 years old) averaged 12.8 points and 2.3 assists in 10 Turkish Airlines Euroleague off the bench last season. He ranked fifth in free throw percentage (38-of-41, 92.7%) in the 2010-11 Euroleague. Roberts helped Brose to win back-to-back German League titles in each of the last two seasons. He also lifted the German Cup trophy in 2011. He has also played for Altshuler Saham Galil Gilboa in Israel since finishing his college career at the University of Dayton (NCAA), where he was chosen to the All-Atlantic 10 first team in 2008.
