BIZKAIA BILBAO extends center Hampl
Tomas Hampl - Bizkaia Bilbao (Photo: ACB)Bizkaia Bilbao agreed to a contract extension with center Tomas Hampl, the club announced Tuesday. Hampl (2.15 meters, 23 years old) is a native of the Czech Republic, but joined Bilbao as a teenager and has been a part of the club for the past five seasons. Most of his playing time in recent years has come on loan at Santurtzi, for whom he averaged 10 points and 5.5 rebounds per game last season. Hampl has also represented the Czech national team at the junior levels.
