SLUC NANCY brings back Amagou at point
An experienced playmaker is set to return to the Turkish Airlines Euroleague next season after a long absence, as Pape-Philippe Amagou agreed to a one-year deal with French League champions Sluc Nancy Basket on Wednesday. Amagou (1.85 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Chorale Roanne, where he averaged 10.2 points and 2.7 assists in 6 Eurocup games last season. He did even better in the French League, averaging 12.5 points in 33 games. Amagou already played for Nancy in the 2007-08 season, helping the team to win the French League title. He has also played for Kavala in Greece and Le Mans in France, as well as being a member of the Ivory Coast national team. He helped Le Mans to win three different titles - the French Cup in 2004, as well as the Semaine des As and the French League in 2006.
