ASSECO PROKOM lands veteran swingman Brown
Polish League champion Asseco Prokom Gdynia bolstered its perimeter attack with the signing of Devin Brown for the season. Brown (1.96 meters, 32 years old) arrives in Europe after spending most of his professional career in the NBA and the D-League. He played in a total of 465 NBA games with six teams over eight seasons between 2002 and 2010. Brown tallied a career scoring average of 7.2 points per game. He helped San Antonio win the 2005 NBA championship. His best season from an individual point of view came in 2006-07, when Brown averaged 11.6 points and 4.3 rebounds in 58 games with New Orleans/Oklahoma City. Brown has also played for Denver, Utah, Cleveland and Chicago during his career. Brown was also the D-League MVP for the 2002-03 season with Fayetteville.
