ASSECO PROKOM signs Dmitriev at forward
Fedor Dmitriev - BC KhimkiPolish champion Asseco Prokom Gdynia bolstered its frontline by signing Fedor Dmitriev. The experienced power forward has played in 19 Euroleague games over the past two seasons with BC Khimki Moscow Region. Last year Dmitriev (2.03 meters, 26 years old) averaged 2 points per game for Khimki in the Euroleague and then moved to Krasnye Krylya, for whom he posted 3.9 points and 1.4 rebounds in the Russian League. Dmitriev, who has an excellent outside shot for a big man, has also played for Spartak St. Petersburg, Triumph Lyubertsy and Ural Great Perm during his career. He represented the Russian national team at EuroBasket 2009.
