UNICAJA signs Dragic to lengthy deal

The announcement came hours after the club announced the signing of center Kosta Perovic. Unicaja and Dragic (1.96 meters, 23 years old) came to terms on a two-year deal with a club option for the following two seasons, which means he could remain in a Unicaja uniform through 2016. He arrives from Krka Novo Mesto in his native Slovenia. In his two seasons with the club, Dragic won back-to-back Slovenian League titles and the 2011 FIBA Eurochallenge crown. Last season he averaged 11.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in 11 Eurocup games. Dragic has also been a regular with the Slovenian national team at both the junior and senior levels.
