BESIKTAS brings in big man Falker
Randal Falker - Cholet BasketBesiktas JK Istanbul fortified its frontline with the signing of Randal Falker for the season. Falker (2.01 meters, 27 years old) will be reunited with head coach Erman Kunter, who has been his only professional coach to date. Falker played under Kunter for the past four seasons with French club Cholet Basket. Last season Falker amassed 7.7 points, 7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in six Eurocup games and 6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in the French League. He made his Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut with Cholet in the 2010-11 season, one year after he helped the club win the French League crown. Falker played college basketball at Southern Illinois University where he was the Missouri Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year after his junior season. Falker has already completed medical tests in Istanbul and will join the squad immediately.
