JSF NANTERRE re-signs star guard Meacham

Trent Meacham - JSF NanterreFrench League champion JSF Nanterre took an important step forwards to keep a competitive roster in its Turkish Airlines Euroleague debut next season by re-signing guard Trent Meacham for one more year. Meacham (1.88 meters, 27 years old) averaged 12.8 points and 3.1 assists in 34 French League games last season, hitting 44.7% of his three-point attempts. He helped Nanterre to win the French League title and reach the French Cup final. Meacham has also played for Paris Levallois in France, BG Goettingen in Germany and WBC Kraftwerk Wels in Austria since finishing his college career at the University of Illinois (NCAA). Meacham, who played the 2010-11 Eurocup with Goettingen, is set to make his Euroleague debut next season. "These are good news, given the important role that Trent should have during the season," Nanterre head coach Pascal Donnadieu said. "He is the leader of out team and I want to thank him for his confidence in this club and his willingness to face new challenges together."
