The Italian champion signed rookie Erick Green to a one-year deal to step into the void filled by Bobby Brown leaving. Green (1.91 meters, 22 years old) arrives from Virginia Tech, where he led the NCAA in scoring with 25 points per game last season. He made 38.9% of his three-pointers and dished 3.8 assists per game. Green also collected Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year honors last season while setting the Hokies’ single-season scoring record with 801 points.
