Dimitrios Agravanis – Greece (Photo: FIBA Europe/Gintaras Siuparys)Two-time defending Turkish Airlines Euroleague champion Olympiacos Piraeus picked up an important piece for the future by signing teenage power forward Dimitrios Agravanis to a multi-year contract. Agravanis (2.08 meters, 18 years old) is a product of the Maroussi Athens youth setup and made his professional debut for the club three seasons ago. He played for Panionios Athens last season and appeared in one Eurocup game and 23 Greek League games as a reserve. Agravanis has been a regular for the Greek junior national teams, which he has played for in each of the past four summers. He averaged 9.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks per game at the recently completed European Under-20 Championships in Estonia.
