Slaughter also brought his best to the slam dunk contest, finishing second only to Ersan Ozseven of Mersin Buyuksehir Belediyesi. In addition to the game itself, the weekend featured a host of events, from the slam-dunk, three-point and skill competitions to hip hop and rap concerts and a cheer leading show. Kenton Paulino of Beykoz won the three-point shootout by beating Omer Unver of CASA TED Kolejliler in the final 17-14. Ozseven took the slam dunk crown with 115 points, while Turkish citizen and German national team playmaker Mithat Demirel of Galatasaray Cafe Crown clinched first place in the skills by completing the course in the quickest time (32 seconds).
