Romain Sato led the winners with 28 points and 10 rebounds while Rimantas Kaukenas added 25 points for Montepaschi. Benetton Treviso bounced back from its Euroleague loss in Moscow by downing VidiVici Bologna 89-65 to improve to 15-9 in the standings - even when Benetton had 6 wins removed due to the court decision regarding Erazem Lorbek. Terrell Lyday paced the winners with 17 points while Marcus Goree added 16. Lottomatica Roma beat Eldo Napoli 71-54 behind 17 points from Dejan Bodiroga to improve to 15-9 in the standings. Climamio dropped to 11-13 due to a 77-79 home loss against Armani Jeans Milano, while Snaidero Cucine Udine moved down to 10-14 because of a 93-73 road loss against Angelico Biella. In other games, Air Avellino topped Bibop Carire Reggio Emilia 80-84, Siviglia Wear Teramo edged Whirlpool Varese 85-83, Legea Scafati thrashed Upea Capo d'Orlando 92-63 while Tisettanta Cantu topped Premiata Montegranaro 98-86.

Kaukenas added 25 points, Lonny Baxter had 14 and Shaun Stonerook 12 for Montepaschi. Sato, Stonerook and Kaukenas stroke from downtown in a 6-19 opening run that put Montepaschi ahead for good. Sato and Joseph Forte helped the guests to get a 42-52 halftime margin. Sato had 14 points in 5 minutes to break the game open, 59-79, after 30 minutes and seal the outcome. Benetton Treviso showed its power by downing VidiVici Bologna 89-65 to improve to 15-9 in the standings - even when Benetton had 6 wins removed due to its license problem with Lorbek. Lyday paced the winners with 17 points, Goree added 16, Spencer Nelson had 14, Preston Shumpert 13 and Nikos Zisis 12. Benetton broke the game early in the second half with a 16-4 run to get a 63-46 margin after 30 minutes. Virtus did not recover and Benetton added a much-needed win. Snaidero Udine dropped to 10-14 due to a 93-73 road loss against Angelico Biella. Reece Gaines led the winners with 26 points. Jerome Allen had 25 points for Snaidero, Damon Williams had 13 and Kristaps Valters 12. Free throws by Allen gave Udine its last lead, 41-42, late in the first half. Biella rolled after the break to get a 73-59 lead after 30 minutes and Udine could not rally in the final period.

Lottomatica Roma improved to 15-9 by thrashing Eldo Napoli 71-54 on Sunday night. Bodiroga led the winners with 17 points, David Hawkins added 14, Lorbek had 13 and Ognjen Askrabic 10 and 11 rebunds for Lottomatica. Michel Morandais had 19 points for Eldo while Mason Rocca added 12. A layup by Rocca got Napoli within 31-27 at halftime but Roma rolled after the break. Mire Chatman, Bodiroga, Hawkins and Lorbek scored from downtown in a 16-2 run that broke the game open, 52-33. Napoli did not recover and Roma added a convincing home win. Climamio dropped to 11-13 due to a 77-79 home loss against Armani Jeans Milano on Sunday morning. Dante Calabria paced the winners with 23 points. Stefano Mancinelli had 21 points for Climamio, James Thomas added 20 and 12 rebounds, Moochie Nooris added 19 points and Marco Belinelli 12. Climamio seemed to have the game under control, as back-to-back baskets by Norris gave the hosts a 74-68 lead with 5 minutes to go. Calabria simply took over with 9 unanswered points on back-to-back triples and a layup-plus-foul. A three-pointer by Norris brought Climamio within 77-78, Kiwane Garris made 1 of 2 free throws for Milano and the hosts did not manage to take a final shot.
